Qualified and registered practitioners assess the needs of homeless people who present with complex needs potentially including mental health or related issues.
The goal of the assessment is to enable the person and the organisation requesting the assessment to form a better understanding of their health and social needs and then to facilitate access to appropriate assistance.
Easl provides structured advice and support to staff of projects working with homeless people.
We help them liaise with mental health providers, so they can identify and access services.
We provide training for homeless organisations in mental health issues, and for health professionals in issues related to homelessness.
We help them establish reflective practices and psychologically informed environments, so they can better support people’s needs and their own professional and personal development.
