The goal of the assessment is to enable the person and the organisation requesting the assessment to form a better understanding of service users’ health, care and social needs, and then to facilitate access to appropriate assistance / services.

In addition EASL advocates on the behalf of clients and identify and manage routes off the streets for them including where possible statutory mental health assessments.

The London Borough of Newham has commissioned EASL to work alongside their existing outreach service delivered by Thames Reach which aims to address rough sleeping in the borough.

EASL provides qualified and registered practitioners to assess the needs of homeless people who present with complex needs and which will include mental health or related issues.
